USDGC News Flash

This just in… the USDGC Organizing Committee decided today that there will be no cut for the Open Flight.

Original plans called for the Open Flight field to be cut in half after Friday’s third round.
“Everyone in the Open Flight has earned the opportunity to fight to the very end,” said Event Director Jonathan Poole.

The Performance Flight will have no cut as well, just as originally planned.

In other USDGC news, Poole said that the Open and Performance Flights will be mixed for the first day of competition. That means two players from each flight will be grouped together.

For the remaining rounds, competitors will be separated into flights. The Open Flight will tee first on Thursday morning, then last on Friday and Saturday.
