Golden Rake Award – Bill Jacobson and Lisa McDaniel

Each year the USDGC recognizes the volunteers that have helped grow the USDGC into the world class event. This year the Golden Rake was awarded to two volunteers. Congratulations to Bill Jacobson and Lisa McDaniel.

Bill Jacobson has worked each year at the USDGC. In addition to his duties maintaining the golf carts he’s also been the TD for the qualifying rounds and this year volunteered to be the TD for the Inaugural US Doubles.

Lisa McDaniel has been the office manager for the USDGC, independently managing all the details and handling a little bit of everything for the tournament. One of her most important duties has been keeping the staff fed with her connections throughout the city.
