Ulibarri Leads in Hott Shott

Paul Ulibarri of Arizona showed his putting prowess by leading the Hott Shott putting competition at the USDGC on Wednesday.

Ulibarri had 965 points out of a possible 1,050.
Anyone may enter the competition located in the Player’s Hospitality Area not far from Hole 3 of the Winthrop Gold Course. Second chances are only $1 and proceeds go toward the E.D.G.E program.

In Hott Shott, putting stations are set up in incremental distances away from the target. Station point values increase as you move further away.

In order to advance to a second round, players must hit every putt from the first several putting stations.
