Ulibarri still the Hott Shott

Paul Ulibarri of Arizona is still on top of the Hott Shott competition and looks to win it unless someone can beat his 965 score before the contest ends at the end of Friday.

The closest so far has been 2009 US Champ Nikko Locastro, who scored a 900.

Anyone may enter the competition located in the Player’s Hospitality Area not far from Hole 3 of the Winthrop Gold Course. Second chances are only $1 and proceeds go toward the E.D.G.E program.

In Hott Shott, putting stations are set up in incremental distances away from the target. Station point values increase as you move further away.
In order to advance to a second round, players must hit every putt from the first several putting stations. Ulibarri missed only 3 putts out of 60.
