From Charlotte, campgrounds, points north

The easiest way to get to Winthrop is off of Interstate 77, just South of the North Carolina line, at Exit 82B. Follow Cherry Rd. about 4 miles until you see a Bank of America on the right, an Exxon on the left. The next light after that is Richmond Dr. Take a left there and go through the next stopsign (stopping is a good idea). You will see the Coliseum on the left. Continue into the parking lot straight ahead until you see a driveway/street on the right, take a right there, this will get you to the course and parking lots. from there follow the signs to the parking lot, which is behind the soccer fields.

If you are running late, or if the construction and traffic on Cherry Rd. are too much, you can take exit 82A, take a left at the end of the ramp, which will put you on Celanese/ Red River Rd. Follow that through the stoplight on Cherry, and about a mile you will take a right onto Eden Terrace, which is just before the Linde gas plant. Continue on Eden terrace through 3 lights, after the third, Winthrop Coliseum will be on your left. Continue to the entrance past the Coliseum which is where Richmond Dr. will put you. Follow directions above.

From the South
Head up I-77 to exit 82Awhen you get off the exit you will come to a light, take a right on Celanese/Red River Rd. You will go about a mile then take a right onto Eden Terrace, which is just before the Linde gas plant. Continue on Eden terrace through 3 lights, after the third, Winthrop Coliseum will be on your left. Continue to the entrance past the Coliseum which is where Richmond Dr. will put you. Follow directions above.

From the Wingate Inn, Rock Hill, SC
Head out of the Hotel to the light at David Lyle Blvd. Take a left onto David Lyle. You will go under the highway overpass (77) and then past some shopping centers. After you pass Olive Garden (on the right) you are going to take your next right. Continue on this road until it ends at Highway 5. Take a right, and continue to the first light. you will take a left here onto Eden Terrace. Winthrop Lakefront is about 1.5 miles on the left. You will go through 2 stoplights on Eden Terrace. take a left into Winthrop after you pass the coliseum and hole 11.
