US Distance Champion Garret Gurthie
Manchester Meadows hosted the Distance Finals which consisted of 2 rounds of 5 throws each. Jenkins 507 Bratten 492 Astrom 477 Meresma 453 Gurthie 507. Avery and Garret tied in regulation, so both agreed on a Sudden Death throw off. Final scores are: Avery Jenkins 492 ft. - Garrett Gurthrie 507 ft.- Congratulations Garrett!
Clutch Putting Champion - Kyle Crabtree
The music was pumping at the Player's party Friday night at the Longbranch. Kyle pulled out a win standing on stage in front of a fabulous crowd, putting at baskets on tables lit up with lights. The venue screamed of a great time and a fantastic disc golf experience.
Breaking Records! 55!
Today was a unique day at The Championship where the record was broken not only once, but twice. The previous record was 56, held by Ken Climo for several years. Avery Jenkins and Nate Doss both carded a 55 on the infamous, Winthrop Gold Course.
