Volunteers

One of the key ingredients to any successful event are those who serve as volunteers. Each year the US Championship sees more than 100 people from around the country give graciously of their time. Many on our tournament staff plan months in advance to spend the week in Rock Hill. Competitors have learned to appreciate seeing the same smiling faces year after year.

As the tournament grows however, so does the need for dedicated staff members. Here are some of the core areas where support is needed. Make sure you give thought to which areas would provide you the greatest level of enjoyment. We want you to have fun while you are here, even when you’re outside the ropes.

* Scoring
* Hole Marshals (PDGA Official Certification required)
* Spotters (PDGA Official Certification preferred)
* Welcome Village Hosts
* Kid’s Zone
* IT Support Team
* Shuttle Drivers
* Course Maintenance (pre-event)
* Course Management
* Parking & Ticket Sales

There are many ways to get involved as the US Championship is unlike any other event in disc golf. We welcome support on all levels, and on any of the days of Championship Week.

Each Championship Volunteer will receive:

* A distinctive apparel item
* Boxed lunch each day of competition
* Snacks and beverages
* Complementary Single Day passes for family and friends
* An inside look at one of the world’s premier disc golf events
